Bob’s father was All Texas Quarterback in his sophomore year of high school. He then served in the army during WII. After serving, he along with his wife, older daughter and Bob moved to Oregon. He and his wife both worked to pay rent and visit social clubs drinking alcohol. They also moved about to live in other homes whereby Bob was only in a particular school no more than two years. He roamed about learning on his own and became a loaner. After high school, he served four years in the Air Force as a communications specialist. He attended some college classes but mostly worked for a living until retiring at the end of 1999. He decided to further self-educate by means of writing and research.
